Calvert Marine Museum is a public, non-profit, educational, regionally oriented museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, research, and interpretation of the culture and natural history of Southern Maryland.

The Chesapeake Beach Beach Water Park opens for weekends on Memorial Day Weekend and then opens daily beginning the day after the last day of school for Calvert County and will continue daily operations through the Sunday before school resumes for Calvert County, after that the park will be open on weekends through the Sunday after Labor Day. Park hours are 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and then after Labor Day, the water park will be open for the next weekend from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., weather permitting. .
