Solomons Island Winery
was founded as a micro-winery by Ken & Ann Korando in the fall of
the year 2002. They are located on 9.3 acres just north of
Solomons Island in southern Calvert County, Maryland along the
idyllic shores of Hungerford Creek. Available are four dry premium
wines: Chardonnay, White Merlot (Rose'), Sauvignon Blanc and
Marytage. Their Marytage (Meritage) is a Bordeaux Style blended
red wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and
Malbec. Also Available are four Semi-Sweet wines under our new
Label Solomons Island Mist that are light and fruity: Green Apple
Riesling, Mango Symphony, Black Raspberry Merlot and Exotic Fruits

Friday's Creek Winery
Located on the fertile
farmlands of Southern Maryland, Fridays Creek Winery is following
in the rich agricultural history of Calvert County. A stately old
barn where tobacco once hung now houses barrels of oak. Those

Running Hare Vineyard
is 300 acre private farm with an eight acre vineyard and winery.
Our tasting room is located outside in the vineyard and guests are
encouraged to bring a lunch to enjoy in the picnic area while
sipping wine.
Running Hare Vineyard is also available to rent for weddings,

vineyard is a little bit of Tuscany and Napa right in Southern
Maryland. This venue is a beautiful one-of-a-kind location and can

Cove Point Winery
Cove Point Winery is a
small micro-winery located in Southern Maryland's Calvert County
town of Lusby. The winery is located approximately 6 miles north
of Solomons Island and just a short distance from Cove Point
Lighthouse - Maryland's oldest operational lighthouse. Cove Point
Winery is the first licensed and bonded Class 4 Winery in Southern
Maryland - Calvert County. As such, they obtain grapes and juice
from local growers here in Southern Maryland in addition to their
own vineyard.
